For over a decade, I have worked developing, manufacturing, and tailoring garments and costumes for the best athletes and performers in the world.
In collaboration with designers, coaches, artistic directors, and vendors, I have led multidisciplinary teams to create products that allowed customers to feel empowered, confident, and comfortable while respecting ambitious deadlines, high-quality measures, in a variety of budgets.
I attribute my success to completing timely projects to being a flexible, forward-thinking professional who always strives to push the boundaries of finding positive alternatives to challenges. Moreover, I enjoy involving and empowering team members with information and opportunity. I perform my best when collaboration and communication are a top priority.
The lovely sunny weather in the desert has undoubtedly spoiled me over the years. Residing in Las Vegas, NV, the entertainment capital of the world, has allowed me to work with many talented people in music, film, and unique entertainment companies creating memorable experiences for patrons.
Originally born in Brazil, my fascination with garment construction and product design started at an early age. In 2002 I was sponsored and moved to the United States to study fashion. I received a BFA from the International Academy of Design and Technology – Chicago in 2006. I graduated at the top of my class (Valedictorian honors) and received several design awards along the way.
My will to venture into the next chapter, my desire to challenge myself in new ways, and the mentors I have met in every stage of my life have propelled me into an exciting career in apparel and costume design.
In 2015, I returned to school to further my knowledge and understanding of the hospitality industry. Through sponsorship and scholarships, I was able to fully fund my studies . I received a Master’s in Hospitality Administration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, one of the top hospitality programs in the country, in 2019.
I am thankful for all I have experienced so far, and I am grateful for all the exciting opportunities still to come my way.
